What once began as a small company has developed over the years into a reliable logistics partner for furniture manufacturers, furniture stores and online retailers. Our customers appreciate not only our punctual, high-quality delivery, but also our comprehensive service: from safe transport and careful handling to professional assembly at the end customer's premises. We always focus on the quality of our work and the satisfaction of our partners.

Over the course of our company's history, we have taken important steps to continuously develop ourselves further: We have digitalised our internal processes, expanded our network, constantly trained our team and extended our range of services. The topic of sustainability is also playing an increasingly important role for us - we take responsibility for the environment and society and focus on future-orientated solutions.

1997

Foundation in Paderborn

Under the name Online Furniture Logistics - start with B2B new furniture logistics.

2000

Change of name to HIT-VMS

Expansion of logistics services with the first central warehouse in Hamburg.

2010

New foundation of MM - Transport & Logistik GmbH

Introduction of a new forwarding programme - flexible interface adaptation with any external IT system.

2013

Introduction of B2C logistics

Free delivery of furniture to the point of use - with the option of taking back packaging and assembly.

2014

Start of warehouse logistics & returns management

Provision of storage space - storage, management and delivery of new furniture. Planning, coordination and control of returned goods.

2016

Digital archive and T&T system

Expansion of digital access options for our customers to the archive systems and the Track & Trace system.

2018

Container handling

Starting point of the new department - handling containers on arrival at the port.

2021

Kitchen delivery & assembly

Reliable kitchen logistics for retailers and end customers.

Project management

Coordination and realisation of all steps involved in equipping properties.
